This page covers the School Connect marketing website at theschoolconnect.com. The School Connect application your school logs into is different: it sets only the session cookies needed to keep you signed in, and it carries no analytics or advertising of any kind.
Nothing in the analytics or marketing categories below runs until you opt in. On a first visit we do not merely block those cookies — we do not fetch the provider's script at all, so no request reaches them and no IP address is shared.
You can change or withdraw your decision at any time, and it takes the same single click that granting it did.
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function and to remember what you told us about cookies. These are exempt from consent under the ePrivacy Directive, Art. 5(3), so there is no switch for them — offering one would be pretending you have a choice you do not have.
Analytics
Aggregate readership numbers. Off unless you turn them on, and nothing is loaded from the provider until you do — the tag itself is not fetched on a first visit.
Marketing
Measures whether an advert led to a demo request. Off unless you turn it on. We do not sell or share your data with advertising networks for their own purposes.

We host our typeface ourselves. Many sites load fonts from Google's servers, which sends every visitor's IP address to Google before the page has even finished drawing — something no banner can ask about in time. There are no third-party embeds, trackers or social widgets on this site; the social links in the footer are ordinary links and load nothing until you click them.
Turning a category off here stops us setting anything new, but it cannot reach into cookies already on your device. Every major browser lets you view and delete them under its privacy settings, and Global Privacy Control is honoured automatically — if your browser sends that signal we treat it as a refusal and never show you the banner.
